Lanes reopen after jackknifed semi truck causes delays on I-55 in Bolingbrook
All lanes on Interstate 55 have reopened after a jackknifed semi was caused delays Wednesday morning in suburban Bolingbrook. No injuries were reported. Around 3:40 a.m., state troopers responding to the northbound lanes of I-55 just south of I-355 for the semi that jackknifed across lanes and struck a median, Illinois state police said. The median was partially pushed in the leftmost lane, state police said. Three lanes on the expressway were also closed. Delays are expected and motorists are urged to seek an alternate route if possible, state police said. Lanes reopened around 8 a.m., according to state police.
