Lanes back open after semi hauling cornstarch flips on I-80 near Joliet
Traffic is moving through Monday morning nearly eight hours after a semi hauling cornstarch flipped over on I-80 near southwest suburban Joliet. At 8 a.m., the lanes were reopened, state police said. No injuries were reported. Around 12:25 a.m., state troopers responded to I-80 just west of the exit to I-55 for a rollover crash involving a semi hauling cornstarch, Illinois state police said. Earlier, all westbound lanes were closed in that area and traffic was being diverted off at Interstate 55, state police said.
