Krispy Kreme offering green doughnuts for 2 days only

The Grinch is spreading more mischief than holiday cheer this year at Krispy Kreme after deciding to add his own twist to the chain’s iconic glazed donuts.

The doughnut chain announced that Grinch Green doughnuts would be available at participating shops while supplies last.

Customers can only receive their green doughnuts when they shop in-store on Friday and Saturday.

The chain also has a limited time “Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection” to celebrate the holiday season.

• Grinch doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme filling to represent coal and dipped in green icing with a chocolate icing grin and buttercream hair.
• Grinchy Claus doughnut: A glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with white buttercream and “Christmas crispies and Grinch piece.”
• Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree doughnut: A glazed doughnut dipped in strawberry-flavored icing with a green buttercream tree and decorated with festive sprinkles and a star piece.
• The Santa Belly doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with white Kreme, dipped in red icing and decorated with a Santa belt and buckle.
•  Holiday Sprinkle doughnut: A glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing with festive sprinkles.

The collection will be available until Christmas Eve.

This isn’t the first time Krispy Kreme has temporarily changed the color of its glazed doughnuts. Green glazed doughnuts are typically available around St. Patrick's Day.
