It’s a snowplow-naming smackdown in Washington County. Here are the finalists.
Residents have until Jan. 24 to vote for their favorite.
It’s Hotdish Hauler vs. Stone Cold Steve Frostin’ in this year’s Washington County name-a-snowplow contest.
Those were two of the 10 finalists announced Thursday by Washington County transportation officials.
Other finalists include Snowby Keith, Land of 10,000 Flakes, Sir Plows a lot, De-Ice Ice Baby, Just Scrapin’ By, Mr. Clean, Snow Problem and SKOL Plow.
Washington County residents in November were invited to help name two of the county’s 26 snowplows. More than 1,200 submissions were received; county transportation officials winnowed that list down to the 10 finalists.
Residents have until Jan. 24 to vote for their favorite. The two names with the most votes will be announced at the end of January.
