Illinois state trooper in good condition after being hit by vehicle on I-57 in Morgan Park
An Illinois State trooper has been injured during a crash Monday morning on I-57 in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the city's Far South Side. The male trooper was responding to crash involving another trooper when the crash happened in the northbound lanes near 107th Street about 10:25 a.m., according to a statement from state police and fire officials.
