Hutchinson Chamber plans Beach Bash, seeks nominations for service awards

The Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is planning a 2017 Beach Bash for its annual banquet on Jan 20 at Crow River Winery.

The Chamber is flip-flopping the usual program and will serve beach party food and beverages. For more information, go online and register at www.explorehutchinson.com or call 320-587-5252. Cost is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers. 

In preparation for the annual banquet, the Chamber and Hutchinson Jaycees are seeking nominations of people for the four service awards.

Nominations are being accepted for Business Person of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Teacher of the Year, and Young Leader of the Year (must be 35 or younger).

Nominations must be submitted by Dec. 28. Winners will be recognized at the banquet. Contact the Chamber or Jaycees for a nomination form.
