(KRON) – The National Weather Service has issued a beach hazard statement for the Bay Area.
The warning will last 32 hours from 3 p.m. Sunday to 7 p.m. Monday.
Ocean waves are expected to reach up to 10 to 14 feet.
All beaches along the Pacific Coast, except the Santa Cruz coast, are included in the hazardous warning, according to the weather service.
NWS suggests avoiding hazardous swimming conditions, keeping pets on a leash and away from the water and never turning your back on the ocean.
