Hayward teen missing since last week safely located

(KRON) -- A Hayward teenager who had been missing since Oct. 22 was safely located, the Alameda County Sheriff's Department announced Wednesday. Lyric Oden, a 14-year-old boy, was last seen at 9:45 p.m. last Tuesday.
An Ebony Alert was issued for the teen, who was last known to be in the area of Montgomery Avenue and Grove Way in Hayward. As of around 4 p.m. Wednesday, law enforcement officials said that Lyric had been found and reunited with his family.
"We are happy to report that Lyric has been located and reunited with his family," officials said on X.
