A child who fell from a third-floor window in Hartford Thursday was caught by an adult — saving the youngster from serious injury.
The incident occurred at a multi-family home around 3:15 p.m. The adult caught the child and the two crashed into a bush, which also helped break the 4-year-old’s fall.
The child was conscious and alert and taken to a hospital to treat their “minor injury, if any,” according to the Middletown Press.
No other information about the child was released. The circumstances behind the child’s fall are under investigation, but it appeared accidental, the outlet noted.
At least two children fell from windows in the Connecticut city last month. A 12-year-old girl died last weekend in neighboring Massachusetts when she fell out of a window during a sleepover.
