AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Storms dumped rain and hail across the Central Texas area Wednesday evening.
The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the entire Austin metro counties and all of the Hill Country as storms develop.
KXAN viewers sent in photos and videos of heavy rain and hail in their area.

Viewers sent in photos of their backyard trees uprooted from the ground.
KXAN's Meteorologist Nick Bannin said the Severe Thunderstorm Watch would be in effect until 10 p.m. Severe storms are possible late in the day on Thursday.
