Football

Mike Flynn has been named football coach at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School. The former Baltimore Raven and 11-year NFL veteran spent five successful seasons guiding the varsity football team at Pingree School before spending last year as an assistant at Masconomet. While at Pingree, Flynn compiled a record of 37-8-2, including three first-place finishes in the Evergreen Division of the NEPSAC.

Lacrosse

The fourth annual A Shot For Life Clash Against Cancer will take place this Sunday at the Union Point Sports Complex in Weymouth. The boys division will play at 11:15, and the girls division will play at 1:30. The ASFL Clash Against Cancer is the lacrosse sibling to the ASFL Challenge (Basketball), ASFL Baseball/Softball Home Run Derby and Pitchers Challenge, the ASFL Classic (hockey), ASFL Bowl (Football) and the ASFL Courage Cup (Soccer). These initiatives are a hybrid between a fundraiser and a competitive athletic event.
