Calling all future scientists! The fourth annual San Ysidro STEM Fair, organized in partnership with the Fleet Science Center, will return Friday, April 18, with an afternoon of hands-on science and community connection designed to break down barriers and make education accessible to all.
Organizers invite attendees to explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) at this free, family-friendly event, held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at La Mirada Elementary School in San Ysidro.
The fair will include more than 40 interactive booths, live demonstrations, robotics from the San Ysidro Cougarbots Club and student-led STEM musical performances.
Raffles, giveaways and local STEM role models will round out the afternoon, according to event organizers.
No registration is required, though students must be accompanied by an adult.
