Johnson finished his collegiate career in the spring with a 119-30 (.799) record in games which he appeared.
The bulk of that was spent at San Diego State where he helped lead the Aztecs to the 2023 NCAA championship game. After coming off the bench for SDSU as a freshman and sophomore, Johnson became a starter in his junior year. He scored 658 points as an Aztec, and played in 88 consecutive games, starting the final 71.
Johnson played his final season at Arizona after transferring from SDSU. As a fifth-year senior, Johnson was a Pac-12 All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention and a semifinalist for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award. He finished second on the team in rebounds and blocks and third in minutes.
