Former Disney star Skai Jackson expecting her 1st child

A baby is on the way for former Disney star Skai Jackson.

The 22-year-old is expecting her first child with her boyfriend and sat down with PEOPLE magazine for an exclusive interview all about it.

“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!" she exclaimed to the outlet.

Jackson, best known for her role as Zuri Ross on the Disney Channel sitcom "Jessie," showcased her growing bump in photos of her out and about while wearing a white crop top, blue jeans, and heels.

As she prepares for motherhood, Jackson is very close to her mother, Kiya Cole, who raised the actress as a single mother. Just last year she gushed to the magazine about Cole and her guidance.

"[My mom] always taught me to stand up for myself, stand up for what I believe in and fight for what is right,” she said in 2023. “I thank her for that because, without her, I probably wouldn't have a lot of the confidence that I do now.”

Jackson, who appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2020 is keeping busy. She stars in the movie "The Man in the White Van," which is set to hit theaters on Dec. 13.
