Inland areas are expected to see a gradual warming trend through Wednesday, with daytime highs reaching 5 to 10 degrees above average.
Forecasts for Tuesday predict highs of 71 to 76 near the coast, 77 to 82 inland, 80 to 84 in the western valleys, 83 to 88 near the foothills, 76 to 84 in the mountains and 91 to 95 in the desert.
Temperatures will remain steady through Thursday and Saturday, with a slight cooldown expected on Sunday and Monday, the NWS said.
Night and morning coastal low clouds may return by midweek, potentially as early as Wednesday morning, according to meteorologists.
