SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A fog advisory on Thursday is creating problems for travelers attempting to land at the San Diego International Airport.
Alaska saw at least six flight departures canceled as travelers scramble to get home for the holidays.
Just after 8 p.m., the fog rolled onto the tarmac, creating safety issues for some flights and forcing flights to circle for a break in the fog.
The difficult air travel conditions are expected to continue into the morning hours so make sure to check your flight before heading to SAN.
