Florida Teen Sentenced to 12.5 Years for Fatal Crash That Claimed Six Lives

A Florida teenager, Noah Galle, has been sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison following a tragic car crash that resulted in the deaths of six people. Galle, who was just 17 years old at the time, was driving a 2019 BMW 5-Series at an astonishing speed of 151 mph when he collided with another vehicle near the intersection of State Road 7 and Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.

The Fatal Incident

The devastating accident occurred when a Nissan Rogue, carrying six people, was leaving a farm and entering State Road 7 at a regular speed. Galle’s speeding BMW slammed into the back of the Rogue with such force that it flipped over, veered off the road, and landed upside down. The impact crushed the back of the Rogue into its backseat, leaving little chance of survival for its occupants.

Five of the Rogue’s passengers were pronounced dead at the scene: Mirlaine I. Julceus (driver), Filaine Dieu, Vanice Percina, Remize Michel, and Marie M. Louis. The sixth victim, Saint L. Michel, succumbed to injuries later at a hospital. Meanwhile, Galle walked away from the crash with only an ankle injury.

Disturbing Behavior and Social Media Recklessness

Although first responders noted Galle appeared intoxicated—citing slurred speech and the smell of alcohol—subsequent tests revealed no drugs or alcohol in his system. However, his history of reckless behavior raised serious concerns.

Investigators found that Galle frequently drove at dangerously high speeds and flaunted his actions on social media. His TikTok and Instagram accounts showcased videos of him speeding on highways, including one post where he dared followers to guess his speed in exchange for a $25 prize. His BMW was even branded with a sticker promoting his Instagram handle, “M5.Noah.”

Courtroom and Sentencing

The court proceedings highlighted Galle’s reckless actions and their devastating consequences. Family members of the victims delivered emotional statements, emphasizing the irreversible loss and trauma caused by the crash.

Prosecutors pointed to Galle’s history of dangerous driving as evidence of a pattern of behavior that ultimately led to the tragedy. The defense acknowledged the teen’s poor judgment and expressed remorse on his behalf, but the weight of the loss was undeniable.

Galle’s sentence of 12 and a half years in prison reflects the gravity of his actions. In addition to his prison term, he will face six years of probation upon release. A Stark Reminder

The tragic crash serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of reckless driving, particularly among young drivers. The case has sparked discussions about the role of social media in encouraging dangerous behavior and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws.

The families of the six victims continue to mourn their loved ones, while Galle’s sentence marks the beginning of accountability for a preventable tragedy.
