Floodwaters recede, Route 141 and I-44 interchange reopens

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - All northbound and southbound lanes of Route 141 under Interstate 44 have reopened Sunday morning.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says that in addition, the southbound Route 141 exit ramp to westbound Interstate 44 and all ramp and outer roads at the interchange are also open as the Meramec River floodwaters have receded.
Moderate flooding is still ongoing along the Meramec River at Valley Park but river levels are expected to drop into minor flood stage on Sunday.
