DENVER (KDVR) — A new Italian eatery plans to open within the next year in Denver's River North Art District, and it just released renderings of what the inside could look like.
The new restaurant, Emilia, was originally announced in April by Restaurant Olivia, a Michelin-recommended Italian spot in the Washington Park neighborhood.
While the team said they're still in the beginning stages of getting construction moving on the new location, they released some renderings of what the new Italian restaurant is expected to look like.
The spin-off establishment will be similar to Restaurant Olivia, but Emilia, which will be on the ground floor of The Current at 3615 Delgany St. in the Five Points neighborhood, will be focused on the culinary traditions of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The region is known for its specialties like Parmigiano Reggiano, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto di Parma.
While they haven't begun any major construction phases, the restaurant said it plans to open in the spring or summer of 2025.
