ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Fire Department is responding to a first-alarm fire inside a vacant building in north St. Louis Wednesday evening.
According to officials, at least 30 firefighters are working to put flames out in the three-story building in the 4000 block of Dryden Ave. in the Penrose neighborhood.
While the building itself is vacant, there is a nearby occupied residence that has been evacuated out of precaution.
No injuries have been reported by the fire department.
