Fire in East Berne leaves one person dead
It happened around 3 a.m.
EAST BERNE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A fire in East Berne on Thompsons Lake Road left one person dead on Wednesday morning. It happened around 3 a.m.
There was also another fire in Albany county where a family with three children lost everything, per Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple. The sheriff reminds residents to check their houses, outlets, heaters, and fireplaces with the cold weather and to stay safe.
