Ferrari partners with Gameloft for its first esports series in Asphalt Legends Unite, featuring qualifiers and a December finale at Ferrari Land, Spain.
Ferrari has officially partnered with Gameloft to launch the Ferrari HP Esports Asphalt Series in the game Asphalt Legends Unite. This marks Ferrari’s first major esports venture, boasting a prize pool of €20,000 ($23,641) in cash and €5,000 worth of additional prizes.
There will be four qualifying events held between August and September. Each event will revolve around one specific Ferrari model, so only skills should be considered when determining the winners. The two best racers from each qualifier will then get a chance to compete in finals, which will take place in December at Ferrari Land, located at PortAventura World in Salou (Spain).

Ferrari models take center stage as players compete in qualifiers
The goal behind setting up the Ferrari HP Esports Asphalt Series was to test out players’ racing abilities on several platforms. The qualifiers have been designed in such a way that there would be different Ferrari models showcased per round, which equalizes chances based on driving skill rather than car performance. This format ensures that no matter where you start playing or how much experience you have had within this particular videogame – anyone who possesses good enough skills can potentially reach its highest levels.
To participate in the tournament, interested individuals can play Asphalt Legends Unite using a PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS/Android devices as well as PlayStation or Xbox consoles. The game supports a cross-save feature meaning one can save their progress across multiple devices while the cross-play feature enables one to play seamlessly between various gadgets hence making this event reachable to a wider audience.
