The 40th Annual Encinitas Holiday Street Fair returns to Downtown Encinitas on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Coast Hwy 101 will be closed from D Street to J Street, from 3 a.m. to 5 p.m., to make room for more than 450 vendors, plus a Beer Garden, three stages, and kid’s rides, along this award-winning main street.

Due to popularity, the Beer Garden hours have been extended from noon to 5 p.m. This year the Beer Garden is sponsored by Kona Brewing (https://www.konabigwave.com/), however, the beer garden will feature drinks from Boochcraft, Beatbox, Ashland Hard Seltzer, Ninkasi Brewing, Juneshine, Easy Rider Beer, Jiant Hard Tea, and Mezo Agave Cocktails. The Beer Garden is family and pet-friendly and will feature the event’s main entertainment stage.

Several bands will rock the Beer Garden Stage, The Lumberyard Courtyard Stage, and The Hansen’s Community Stage. At the Beer Garden Stage we have Phunky Matters from 12-1 p.m., SUNBENDR from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., and The Faux Fighters headlining from 3:30 to 5 p.m. In between sets, DJ MANCAT will be playing.  At the Lumberyard Courtyard Stage Maturation Soul will begin at 11 am and play until noon. Then The Rick Trotter Band will take over from 1 to 3 p.m. To end the evening Totally 80’s Band will take the stage from 3:30 to 5 p.m. At the Hansen’s Community Stage artists such as Youth Arts Academy, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Bach 2 Rock from 12 to 1 p.m., Enzo and Layse from 1 to 2 p.m., Encinitas Ballet from 2:30 to 3 p.m., and Bach 2 Rock from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

For those arriving by car, parking will be available at Moonlight Beach, City Hall, and all side streets.  There will also be a free Bike Valet service at each end of the festival, so cyclists arriving at D Street or J Street can leave their ride in a secure spot while enjoying the festival.
