(KRON) -- The El Cerrito Police Department is searching for a man who sexually battered a disabled woman last week, ECPD announced Monday.
The assault happened on Nov. 13 at about 3:30 p.m. on Stockton Avenue near Elm Street. Police said the suspect slapped the rear end of a woman who is visually and hearing impaired.
The suspect was described as a tall man with a thin-to-medium build. He was wearing a gray or white sweatshirt, dark pants and white shoes. He ran off after the battery.
ECPD obtained surveillance video of a man matching that description following the woman on Stockton Avenue before the assault (image above).

Additionally, anyone who lives in the area of Stockton and Elm is asked to view surveillance footage and send anything relevant to police.
