Eastbound I-70 reopens at Eisenhower Tunnel after crash

Eastbound Interstate 70 reopened at Eisenhower Tunnel after a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The highway was closed between exit 205 for U.S. 6/Silverthorne and exit 216 for Loveland Pass as of 6:26 p.m. and reopened at 7:40 p.m.

Drivers should expect delays in the area, CDOT officials said in an alert.

I-70 between Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass closed several times Monday for crashes as one of the first substantial snow storms of the season sweeps over Colorado.
