(KRON) -- An earthquake shook in the East Bay on Sunday night, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). A preliminary 3.4 earthquake was reported near Pinole at around 9:30 p.m.
The epicenter is in the San Francisco Bay near the shoreline of Pinole Shores Park. The epicenter is about one mile away from Pinole. The earthquake's depth is listed to be 9.4 kilometers (or about 5.84 miles), according to USGS.
The earthquake was felt in San Pablo, Martinez and other parts of the East Bay.
