New early voting locations also open Monday morning around Chicagoland, in addition to the ones that had previously been opened. That includes locations in Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties.
Votes cast during the early voting period will not be counted until after the polls close on Election Day. Mail-in ballots can be accepted through Nov. 19 and still be counted.
