An early morning fire spread through an Ocean Beach condominium Wednesday, displacing four people and causing an estimated $120,000 worth of damage.
The non-injury fire began at about 3 a.m. in the 2000 block of Abbott Street, near Brighton Avenue.
It took crews about fifteen minutes to subdue the flames.
“The Red Cross has been called and they will be in contact with the residents,” said San Diego Fire-Rescue Battalion Chief Matt Moe.
The organization will help residents of the two-story home — three adults and a child — arrange for emergency shelter.
Investigators set the monetary losses at $100,000 to the structure and $20,000 to its contents, authorities said.
