Drugs, gun recovered during Albany narcotics investigation
Albany police recovered drugs and a gun during an investigation with the DEA.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany police recovered drugs and a gun during an investigation with the DEA.
Around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Albany police and the DEC executed a search warrant at a hotel room at Motel 6 on Watervliet Avenue Extension. Detectives said they recovered a loaded gun.
Kemar Daley, 34, of Albany, was arrested near the Ramada Inn after a brief foot chase. Police said he also had cocaine.
He was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail.
