SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Dozens of flights in and out of San Diego International Airport were delayed Monday morning as dense fog blanketed the region.
Many morning flights have resumed service, according to SAN's website, but others were still marked red to indicate delayed arrivals/departures. FlightAware, an unofficial flight tracking website, showed 69 total delays at SAN as of 10 a.m. and one canceled flight.
While the website does not list the delays, they occurred during a morning with heavy fog in the San Diego area. See some of the arrival schedules as of 10 a.m. below. Click to enlarge.
Most of the fog had moved out by 9 a.m., according to San Diego's live weather radar. The satellite images were much different a couple of hours prior, showing a thick band of fog across San Diego County.
