Disneyland is letting fans know when they can purchase its popular candy canes as the resort prepares for the upcoming holiday season.
The limited seasonal treat will be sold on the following days:
Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen at Disneyland
- Nov. 29
- Dec. 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22
Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure
- Nov. 30
- Dec. 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25
Both locations will use mobile waitlist systems for candy cane purchases. Customers can add their names and phone numbers to the mobile waitlists at the candy cane locations in the parks to be notified by text of their return times to make their purchases.
Disneyland’s candy cane making is a decades-long tradition, dating back to 1968.
The five-ounce, 18-inch-long candy canes are handmade each holiday season from pulled sugar and peppermint extract. Guests can watch the candy cane making process at display kitchens along Disneyland’s Main Street U.S.A. and DCA’s Buena Vista Street. The treat retails for $20.
Typically, the theme park only sells fewer than 150 candy canes per day with a one candy cane per guest limit, according to the Orange County Register.
