DIA opens 'farm-to-gate' restaurant led by Nuggets' personal chef

DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver International Airport opened a new restaurant focused on Colorado-inspired ingredients, but that's not the only local tie establishment has.
Sunset Loop Bar & Grill opened at the airport, serving local, Colorado-inspired ingredients from farm-to-table, or as the airport describes it, "farm-to-gate."
The local theme is found throughout the restaurant as the spot is also led by chef Daniel Young, the personal chef of the Denver Nuggets, according to the airport.
The restaurant is open in Concourse B. From 24 hours a day, seven days a week, travelers can purchase grab-and-go snacks, as well as full meals and signature cocktails depending on the time.
This is one of DIA's many newly opened restaurants.
In October, the airport added three local eateries, including Bar Dough, Mister Oso and Aviano Coffee. DIA opened Mizu Sushi-Izakaya, El Chingon and Aviano Coffee in Concourse B-West in August. Meanwhile, in April, the airport announced other local joints like Elway’s Taproom and Grill, Tacos Tequila Whiskey, Breckenridge Brewing and Snarf’s Sandwiches.
