Deputies: Crash in New Scotland leaves one dead on Saturday

NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Sheriff's Office reported a fatal two-car crash in New Scotland on Saturday. The crash happened on Saturday afternoon near Game Farm Road.
Deputies say they responded around 2:15 p.m. and found that one car was traveling northbound on New Scotland South Road when another car entered the street from Game Farm Road, leading to the crash. Law enforcement reports that a 91-year-old woman from Bethlehem was pronounced dead on the scene after succumbing to her injuries from the crash.
The other two people in the crash were sent to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. Deputies say the investigation is still ongoing.
New York State Police, Albany County Sheriff’s Office EMS Division, Albany County Sheriff’s Crash Investigation Team, the Onesquethaw Fire Department, and the Slingerlands Fire Department assisted the Albany County Sheriff's Office on the scene.
