Deputies: 2nd Lake George student charged in school bus incident
The unnamed teen was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.
LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, a 17-year-old was petitioned to Warren County Family Court on Thursday in connection with the incident that led to the cancelation of the Lake George, Warrensburg, and Bolton Landing football season. The unnamed teen was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.
The sheriff's office previously arrested an unnamed 18-year-old on the same charges. Deputies said the incident happened on Saturday, Aug. 31, on a Lake George Central School District bus. Through an investigation, deputies found that members of the Wolverines football team engaged in a lewd act against a juvenile on the bus when returning from an event in Syracuse.
