Daly City man arrested for shooting pregnant woman charged: DA

(KRON) – San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced Khiri Roberson has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a November Bayview shooting on Monday.

Roberson, 30, has been charged with one count of attempted murder with an allegation that he personally and intentionally discharged a firearm, four counts of discharge of a firearm at an inhabited dwelling, one count of possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer.

San Francisco Police Department officers responded to the 1100 block of Hollister for the report of a shooting at 2:13 p.m. on Nov. 19. Responding officers located a pregnant woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was then taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. According to police, investigators determined the suspect shot the woman while she was inside her residence with her daughter and other occupants.

On Nov. 21, SFPD Crime Violent Reduction Team officers located Roberson and arrested him in Daly City. Investigators also responded to his residence on the 200 block of South Mayfair Avenue in Daly City and served a search warrant. During the search, officers seized evidence, including a firearm (pictured below).

“I would like to thank the San Francisco Police for identifying and making an arrest in this case,” said Jenkins. “Although, I am grateful there was no loss of life in this shooting, these are serious crimes, and my office will do everything in our power to fight for justice in the courtroom.”

Despite filed charges, the DA’s office said the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department tip line at (415) 575-4444.
