According to the Culver City Police Department, a man committed an armed robbery at a Shell gas station at about 8:57 a.m., where one victim sustained minor injuries.
After the alleged robbery, the man fled the scene. As of 10:20 a.m., he was barricaded in a home in the area of Braddock Drive and Jasmine Avenue in Culver City.
He was possibly still armed as of that time.
Crisis negotiators, a drone and K9 were on the scene. Police asked the public to avoid the area.
