Check wait times for St. Louis County polling places here

CLAYTON, Mo. -- St. Louis County voters can check current wait times at satellite voting locations before heading out to cast their ballots. The service comes as Missouri begins its two-week early voting period ahead of Election Day.

Voters can access real-time line counts at each location through the county's interactive map at stlouiscovotes.maps.arcgis.com. Simply enter your address to find the nearest early voting locations and view their current wait times.

Long Ballots

Election officials are reporting significant turnout for early voting. On the first day alone, more than 15,000 ballots were cast in St. Louis County.

Officials are encouraging early voting this year due to the ballot length. "The ballot is so long; it's a record," Eric Fey, Democratic Director of Elections for St. Louis County, noted. "We are urging people to use the sample ballot. Mark it, place it with you as a guide, and come vote early."

• Voters must bring a valid photo ID
• No provisional ballots are available during early voting
• St. Louis County voters can vote at any polling location within the county
• Election officials recommend bringing a marked sample ballot to use as a guide
