Case dismissed against ECMC clinic doctor accused of forcibly touching patient

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The case against a doctor from Kenmore accused of forcibly touching a patient in 2019 has been dismissed, the Erie County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday.

Mark Fisher, who worked at the ECMC Outpatient Behavioral Center, had been accused of touching a female patient's intimate parts at the clinic on Aug. 14, 2019.

He had been charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor. He was removed from practicing by ECMC.

The DA's office was unable to comment further on the dismissal, since the case is now sealed.
