A car thief drove off with a red Acura with a 4-year-old girl inside it in Queens on Friday, cops said.
The sedan had been parked on 101st Ave. near 131st St. in South Richmond Hill when the carjacker drove off with it around 4:36 p.m., police said.
Officers recovered the car and the child about five blocks away on 101st Ave. near Sanders Place.

The brief Queens carjacking with a small child involuntarily along for the ride comes just a day after a thief stole a car in the Bronx containing a 7-year-old boy.
The boy’s panicked 34-year-old mom called 911 at 12:22 p.m. to report a stolen vehicle on Macdonough Place in Country Club, just down the block from Pelham Bay Park.
The car and child were later found abandoned about 3 miles away at Tillotson and Wright Aves., just off I-95, cops said.
