(KRON) – Two brass knuckles and other various weapons were found in a retail theft bust, according to the Colma Police Department.
At 6:04 p.m. on Oct. 18, Colma police officers were dispatched to a Kohl’s in the 1200 block of El Camino Real. The police were informed that a man who stole items earlier in the week was back in the store selecting similar items.
The loss prevention officer informed the responding officers the store was seeking prosecution against the suspect. Colma officers located the suspect after he left the store by his vehicle.
Police said the suspect had not stolen any items at the moment. However, it was determined the suspect stole approximately $420 worth of merchandise the week prior.
Police said they found two brass knuckles, a switchblade knife, knife knuckles and an expandable/collapsible baton when the suspect was arrested.
The suspect was identified as 45-year-old Vallejo resident David Woodall. Woodall was arrested for carrying the weapons, police said.
Colma PD said Woodall was issued a citation for his charges and was released on his promise to appear in court.
