Bitcoin Under $70K as Gold Hits Record Highs, Shiba Inu Grows, Spurring Render Rival’s Rise

It’s been an eventful past few weeks in the crypto community. Bitcoin, the chief of all cryptocurrencies having set a record all-time high in early March has caused many investors and BTC holders to gain massive profits. 

What’s more interesting is that Bitcoin and Gold hit the high records on the same day. However, since March ending till early April, Bitcoin dropped drastically from $73,000 to below $66,000. It has ever since been struggling and still has not reached $70,000.

At the same time, Gold also recorded a new record high having risen by 5% in one week. However, according to Fxstreet, there is still room for gold to increase even more.

However, the past few days have not been so jolly for Bitcoin as it began to decline around the end of March, after which it rose again. However, since April 1, it dropped below $70,000 again and has been struggling ever since to move up again. 

The market’s next significant barrier, at $73,500, is where a reversal might drive the price of Bitcoin back to its peak of $73,777. There would be a more robust bullish zone between $74,000 and $75,000 above this mark. 

However, a drop below $68,500 would be a short-term bearish indicator and might drive the price of Bitcoin down to $63,500, giving late-bought bulls a chance to buy before the halving.

Shiba Inu Continues to Grow

Shiba Inu, the second-largest meme coin, has demonstrated a performance that is nothing short of impressive so far this year. According to Coingecko’s data, it has risen by 250% in the past several weeks. This impressive growth has also caught the attention of investors and enthusiasts as the popularity of the coin on Google Trends has hit its peak since its early glory days in late 2021. $SHIB, Shiba Inu token is predicted to reach $0.01 by Q3 of the year.

At the moment, Bitcoin is having a small setback which analysts believe is only for a short period. Shiba Inu continues to perform well as it rises to the top of the defi crypto list.
