Binance Founder ‘CZ’ Ventures into Education: New Project Teased

• Former Binance CEO CZ announced Giggle Academy will offer free basic education for all and is currently hiring a small team.
• The launch of the Giggle Academy is more symbolic that CZ and his legal team are more confident about a win in the upcoming sentencing on April 30 by the US Court.

After being forced out of his former leadership position as the CEO of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange by the United States government, Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has announced his next project. According to the announcement on the X platform, CZ will be focusing on a free basic education platform dubbed Giggle Academy. 

Remarkably, Giggle Academy’s X account has already attracted more than 36k followers within the first few days of launch, which is an indication of CZ’s influence in the web3 sector. According to the project’s concept paper, Giggle Academy will be completely free for all courses with zero revenue generation.

Additionally, the Giggle Academy will not have a physical office in a bid to enable global scalability through the use of artificial intelligence and automation. Ideally, Giggle Academy will entail playing of gamified project and learning, but without the launch of a blockchain-based token system.

“Building a high-quality and sticky education platform that is entirely free and accessible to all is the most impactful thing I could do for the next chapter of my life,” CZ noted.

New Hiring for Giggle Academy

Currently, Giggle Academy is seeking to make three strategic hires to enable its gamification and adaptive curriculum certification. On the top list is an open position for a Senior Game Developer to build interactive gaming applications. 

The Giggle Academy project is also seeking a Gamification product manager to steer the creation and implementation of gamification strategies to enhance user engagement and learning experience.

The other open role for the Giggle Academy project is the Content Production Manager with a focus on mathematics to build learning materials for grade 1-12 levels of education.

CZ is Back in Business Again

As Crypto News Flash previously reported, a popular figure in the web3 sector, hailed for steering Binance to the largest crypto exchange by daily traded volume, is currently awaiting sentencing in the United States on April 30, CZ pleaded guilty to money laundering charges in November last year. The US federal guidelines could slap CZ with up to 18 months in prison but the prosecutors may seek a harsher sentencing.

The ongoing case has, however, not deterred CZ from focusing on other projects in line with the DoJ settlement. Furthermore, the launch of the Giggle Academy is a gesture that the renowned crypto figure will be influential for more years to come.

Market Check

The notable comeback for CZ will have a profound impact on the Binance ecosystem, especially instilling confidence in global investors. Moreover, CZ still has a controlling stake in Binance and is now venturing into a non-revenue-generating project.

As of this writing, BNB is the fourth largest digital asset by market capitalization and was up 43 percent in the past four weeks to trade around $510.
