AUS flight receives special welcome in New Orleans ahead of Eras Tour
Flight WN1313, named in honor of Taylor Swift’s lucky number, received a special welcome as it arrived at the gate in New Orleans.
AUSTIN (KXAN) — In an X post Friday, the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) said airlines added additional flights to New Orleans ahead of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.
The airport said one Southwest Airlines flight from Austin even got a special flight number to celebrate.
Flight WN1313, named in honor of Taylor Swift’s lucky number, also received a special welcome as it arrived at the gate.
The Austin Airport replied to MSY’s X post with a GIF of Taylor Swift raising a wine glass in a cheers salute.
On Wednesday, the New Orleans Airport welcomed Swifties to the “Fly MSY Era” with a Taylor Swift-themed welcome experience with Taylor Swift karaoke, pictures with a Taylor lookalike and friendship bracelets.
“We had an unforgettable time welcoming all the Swifties to New Orleans! The magic will linger, with our stunning backdrop staying up through the weekend. Be sure to stop by for a picture and capture those memories like it’s a love story!” the New Orleans Airport said in another X post.
