Arvada Chamber of Commerce gets a new name for its 100th anniversary
The Arvada Chamber of Commerce turned 100, and marked the occasion with a new name.

The Arvada Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 100th birthday with a special present: a new name. Now called the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce, officials said the rebrand reflects the chamber’s adaption to the city’s growth and its commitment to serving local nonprofit and business needs.
The chamber also launched a digital campaign featuring its 100-year timeline and stories from the Arvada community about its impact since it was recognized in 1925. Examples include using funds from Harvest Festival in 1935 to provide unemployment relief and launching its “Man and Woman of the Year” award program in the 1950s.
The organization’s president, Kami Welch, said in a press release the name change reflects its commitment to “embracing innovation, collaboration, and inclusion to solve business challenges across Arvada and the surrounding region.”
