On Monday, Apple has released its iOS 18.1. The latest software update includes artificial intelligence which it is calling “Apple Intelligence”. The AI is for iPhone 16 and earlier versions of iPhone 15 Pro.
Furthermore, there were software updates for iPad and Mac including the AI as well. The announcement is a significant milestone for Apple as it enhances the marketing campaign for the latest iPhone 16 release last month.
Apple is going in a different direction with device-based AI as compared to the big market rivals who prefer cloud-based AI.
Apple Intelligence will start with writing tools to proofread or rewrite the rest. Moreover, it has a feature that can clone the objects from photos and a unique feature that summarizes the bulk notifications into one.
