APD searching for 2 suspects in east Austin armed robbery
The Austin Police Department said detectives were searching for two suspects in connection with a Thursday robbery in east Austin.
AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said detectives were searching for two suspects in connection with a Thursday robbery in east Austin.
According to APD, the robbery occurred at approximately 9:05 p.m. at 5001 Crainway Drive.
APD said the suspects went up to the victim at gunpoint, forced them to their apartment and attempted to steal from the victim.
The first suspect was described as an 18 or 19-year-old Black man with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white writing on the back and a blue face mask.
Police said the second suspect was an 18 or 19-year-old Black man with a skinny build who was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, red and white mask, and blue jeans with rips.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
