Albany Co. to open voting on 'Name a Snowplow Contest'
Locals can cast votes starting Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 24.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Salt Shaker, Plowasaurus, and Snow Nipper are just a taste of the 15 finalists in the Albany County Legislature and Department of Public Work's Name a Snowplow contest. Locals can cast votes starting Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 24.
The seven names with the most votes will be displayed on Albany County plows to promote safe winter driving. Votes can be submitted online through the Albany County Legislature's website.
