ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Three candidates are running for Albany County District Attorney. One of them is Republican Ralph Ambrosio.
He is facing democrat Lee Kindlon and the incumbent David Soares, who lost in the Democratic Primary but is running as a write-in candidate. All three candidates say bail reform is a top issue.
Ambrosio says it was flawed from the start. While it has been altered following growing criticism, he points out those changes were made in budget negotiations, without any debate from the legislature.
Ambrosio sat down with NEWS10's Ryan Peterson to discuss law and order in Albany County.
