The Austin Fire Department is actively working to put out a southeast Austin home fire in the 4600 block of Turnstone Drive.
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Fire Department worked to put out a southeast Austin home fire in the 4600 block of Turnstone Drive Tuesday morning. This is located near East Stassney Lane and South Pleasant Valley Road.
AFD said fire crews on scene reported seeing heavy fire inside and outside of the home. It has caused the fire to spread to the home next door.
The fire was caused by a propane tank in the backyard of the home, according to AFD. No one was hurt and everyone was evacuated from both homes safely.
The agency said the fire was upgraded to a second alarm. This means that more fire crews have been assigned to put out the fire.
AFD said to avoid the area as they continue to investigate the fire.
