1. Restoration efforts to begin at Hudson-Athens Lighthouse
The process of restoring the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse has begun after a barge operated by Coeymans-based Carver Companies ran into the structure earlier in the week. Officials said the tugboat company has been very helpful assisting in the investigation.

After more than two years of construction, the Kingston City School District can now enjoy a newly upgraded outdoor stadium. Governor Kathy Hochul announced the completion of the revitalized Robert H. Dietz Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

A Wappinger man has been arrested after allegedly stalking an elementary school-aged child in the town of Pleasant Valley, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Kurt Geisler, 36, faces multiple charges.

An Ohio man stopped in Coxsackie Sunday evening amid his walk across the country — spreading awareness for a good cause.
5. Troy PD: 1 injured in shooting near 7th Ave.
Troy authorities are currently investigating a shooting that took place near 7th Avenue and Glen Avenue on Sunday, according to the city’s police department. One person was reportedly struck in the upper arm.
